The EndopouchSpecimen Retrieval Bag System utilizes two support arms to facilitate bag opening and tissue capture during laparoscopic procedures. Both the bag and support arms are attached to the shaft and introducer so the retriever may easily be used to extract specimens.The Endopouch Specimen Retrieval Bag includes a flexible plastic bag with a large, easily-accessible opening, a push/pull rod with thumb-ring handle, finger rings, and an introducer tube. The thumb-ring handle and finger rings enable one-handed deployment of the specimen bag within the body cavity. In the fully deployed condition, the bag opening is maintained in a fully-open position by a metallic rim. A string with a slip knot enables you to close the bag after you have collected the specimen.
