• Material: It is a sterile, lightweight, knitted fabric made from oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC). 
• Standard Dimensions: The standard sheet size is 3 inches x 4 inches (7.6 cm x 10.2 cm), under reference code REF 4350. Larger sizes, like 5x6 inches, are also available under reference 4350XL. 
• Mechanism: It functions as a temporary physical barrier placed between traumatised tissues. Within 8 hours of placement, it forms a protective gel layer. 
• Absorption Timeframe: It provides protection during the critical 5 to 7 day peritoneal healing period and is naturally absorbed by the body within 3 to 10 days, removing any need for surgical removal.
